Job Title: Account Manager

The Account Manager is a key role within our organization, responsible for developing and maintaining strong relationships with our customers. This position requires a unique blend of sales, customer service, and operational skills, with a focus on delivering exceptional results and exceeding customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with retail and corporate customers to achieve top-notch customer satisfaction.
  • Own the sales cycle of prospecting, consulting, quoting, selling, closing, and confirming trips.
  • Own operational success through team collaboration and/or hands-on completion, including site surveys, driver and vehicle scheduling, dispatching, and safety protocols.
  • Enter trip and client information into computer systems and complete paperwork accurately and with a sense of urgency.
  • Become knowledgeable about all vehicles, available services, DOT regulations, safety protocols, and other requirements that apply to the services we provide.
  • Represent Cardinal/GO Riteway at off-site events and visit customer sites for staging of moves as needed.
  • Track travel and booking activities in the system to ensure accuracy regarding trips or services.
  • Monitor phones and email for customer requests and follow-up within established timeframe.
  • Work directly with internal staff and external customers to address and resolve service issues in accordance with defined policy and customer satisfaction.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of two (2) years prior experience in a customer service and sales role.
  • Demonstrated ability to use computers to input, store, and retrieve information. Familiarity with Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to communicate effectively through excellent oral, written, and listening skills to clearly convey information to others to ensure understanding.
  • Demonstrated ability to work well with others collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Displays a sense of urgency and provides information to our clients in a professional manner and in a timely fashion.
  • Flexible to proficiently handle both sales and operational tasks as needed.
  • Able to simultaneously handle multiple tasks and prioritize workload.
  • Composure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Attention to details is an absolute must.
