Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Aircraft Mechanic to join our team at the Army National Guard Units. As an Aircraft Mechanic, you will be responsible for performing inspections, functional checks, and preventive maintenance on assigned aircraft.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform inspections, functional checks, and preventive maintenance on assigned aircraft.
  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and perform unscheduled maintenance on assigned and transient aircraft.
  • Repair and test aircraft systems, assemblies, and surfaces.
  • Conduct ground functional tests of all aircraft systems.
  • Service aircraft with oil, de-icing fluid, fuel, and hydraulic fluid.
  • Launch and recover assigned and transient aircraft.

Requirements:

  • Experience or training in aircraft maintenance and repair.
  • Ability to work with hand tools and test equipment.
  • Knowledge of aircraft systems, including hydraulic, electrical, and transmission systems.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to lift and move heavy equipment and tools.
