Speech Language Pathologist Opportunity
Amedisys is a leading provider of home health, hospice and high-acuity care, dedicated to helping patients and families navigate the complex healthcare system.
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate speech pathologist to join our team in providing patient-centered care to adults with speech, language, social communication, cognitive communication and swallowing disorders.
Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose and treat speech, language, social communication, cognitive communication and swallowing disorders in adults.
- Provide aural rehabilitation for individuals who are deaf or hard of hearing and provide augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) systems for individuals with severe expressive and/or language comprehension disorders.
- Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement effective treatment plans.
Requirements:
- Current, unencumbered license to practice speech pathology specific to the state you are assigned to work.
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) with completed graduate course work and a clinical practicum at a college or university whose program is accredited by the Council on Academic Accreditation in Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology (CAA).
- One (1+) year of experience in speech pathology.
