Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Facilities Security Manager to join our team at Maxar Technologies. As a key member of our Personnel Security Team, you will be responsible for managing the Personnel Security processing in support of collateral and SCI U.S. Government contracts.

Responsibilities
  • Provide development and oversight of all aspects of Personnel Security for collateral and SCI programs.
  • Interpret and implement government security requirements in support of classified and commercial contracts.
  • Engage with DoD and IC government counterparts to ensure compliance with government policy and expectations.
  • Contribute to developing improved processes and protocol and implementing new ideas within Maxar's Personnel Security Program Office.
  • Mentor and provide guidance to junior Personnel Security teammates.
  • Initiate, maintain and terminate personnel security clearances in government databases.
  • Review, respond to, and process all personnel security paperwork for accuracy, completion, and submission.
  • Participate in IC Security Assessments.
Requirements
  • Must have a current Top Secret clearance and be willing to obtain SCI accesses with a Counterintelligence polygraph.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of national security policies, to include ICDs, NISPOM, Executive Orders, Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) and SEADs.
  • Minimum of eight years of experience with a Bachelor's degree or six years experience with a Master's degree.
  • Four additional years of work experience may be substituted for a degree.
Preferred Requirements
  • Current/active Top Secret with SCI access with an adjudicated Counterintelligence polygraph.
  • Experience with Personnel Security processes and leading a small team.
  • Experience processing clearances/access for the NRO, NGA and DoD.
  • Completion of NRO's Personnel Security Management Course and FSO Certification for Possessing Facilities.
