Design Engineer

Simmons Equipment Company is a leading provider of innovative solutions for the mining industry. We are seeking a highly skilled Design Engineer to join our team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for researching and designing new products and systems, as well as overseeing the manufacturing process. Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and implementing design solutions to improve production efficiency
- Creating and maintaining engineering records and designs
- Assessing prototypes to identify issues or risks
- Estimating costs and budgets for new designs
- Supervising the manufacturing process
- Coordinating with other engineers, management, and the creative department
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in design engineering, engineering, or a related field
- Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar role
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in MS Office and popular design software
