Dental Care Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Dental Assistant to join our team at the Midtown Health Center Inc. Estimated Salary: $45,000 - $60,000 per year.
About the RoleThe Dental Assistant plays a crucial role in supporting dental care delivery by preparing treatment rooms, patients, instruments, and materials. This includes taking X-rays, coronal polishing, taking and processing impressions, and patient education.
Responsibilities- Welcome patients and prepare them for treatment
- Verify patient information and maintain accurate records
- Provide patient education on oral health and hygiene practices
- Assist with bleach trays, making custom denture trays, and placing dentures
- Maintain an efficient, safe, and secure environment
To be successful in this role, you must have a high school diploma or equivalent, completion of a CODA-approved dental assisting course, and certification in X-ray and coronal polishing. You should also possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Work EnvironmentThis is a full-time position that requires frequent exposure to communicable diseases and the ability to work varied and extended hour scheduling. A smoke-free and drug-free work environment is strictly enforced.
