Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Psychotherapist to join our team at the Ohio Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services. As a key member of our clinical staff, you will be responsible for providing high-quality mental health services to our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate and diagnose patients' mental health conditions, developing and implementing effective treatment plans.
  • Conduct individual and group therapy sessions, providing a supportive and non-judgmental environment for patients to share their concerns.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and coordination of services.
  • Document patient progress and maintain accurate records, adhering to confidentiality and HIPAA guidelines.
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families, promoting healthy coping mechanisms and self-care strategies.
Requirements
  • Doctoral degree in Psychology or a related field, with a focus on clinical psychology.
  • Current licensure as a Psychologist in the state of Ohio.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in mental health settings, with a proven track record of providing high-quality care.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound judgments.
