Life Enrichment Coordinator

Morningside House Senior Living is seeking a Life Enrichment Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will assist the Life Enrichment Director in designing, creating, and coordinating a wide variety of recreational and educational activities for our residents.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in planning, coordinating, and evaluating resident activities.
- Encourage resident participation in programs and activities.
- Escorts residents on activities away from the property as assigned.
- Assist with the registration of residents for trips and programs.
- Conduct various activities at the direction of the Life Enrichment Director.
- Maintain necessary activity supplies, which may include outside purchasing.
- Assist in the surveying and interviewing of residents to determine interests, talents, and resident satisfaction.
- Maintain general observation of residents and share appropriate information with staff.
- Follow departmental budget guidelines.
- Attend all required training, in-service, and staff meetings.
- Strive to maintain a safe working environment through the prevention of accidents, the preservation of equipment, and the achievement of safe working practices.
- Maintain a positive and professional demeanor toward residents, visitors, families, and co-workers.
- Adhere to all policies and procedures of Morningside Elite Management.
Requirements
An Associate's degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
