Key Responsibilities:
- Efficiently address and resolve guest issues and requests.
- Process guest charges, calculate bills, collect payments, and provide change while adhering to cash handling protocols.
- Acquire an in-depth understanding of hotel personnel, room configurations, pricing, facilities, and sales techniques.
- Manage reservation inquiries with efficiency.
- Operate the switchboard following established telephone etiquette standards.
- Assign rooms and accommodate special requests.
- Monitor room availability and occupancy.
- Maintain a clean and inviting lobby and front desk area.
- Be knowledgeable about emergency procedures and security protocols.
- Facilitate wake-up call requests appropriately.
- Understand the standards for cleaning guest accommodations.
- Open and close shifts, ensuring cash drops are completed.
- Balance all forms of payment, including credit cards and cash, throughout each shift.
- Report any guest-related issues or system problems to management.
- Communicate maintenance needs promptly.
- Assist with guest inquiries regarding lost and found items.
- Be capable of lifting luggage or packages weighing up to 40 pounds.
