Key Responsibilities:

  • Efficiently address and resolve guest issues and requests.
  • Process guest charges, calculate bills, collect payments, and provide change while adhering to cash handling protocols.
  • Acquire an in-depth understanding of hotel personnel, room configurations, pricing, facilities, and sales techniques.
  • Manage reservation inquiries with efficiency.
  • Operate the switchboard following established telephone etiquette standards.
  • Assign rooms and accommodate special requests.
  • Monitor room availability and occupancy.
  • Maintain a clean and inviting lobby and front desk area.
  • Be knowledgeable about emergency procedures and security protocols.
  • Facilitate wake-up call requests appropriately.
  • Understand the standards for cleaning guest accommodations.
  • Open and close shifts, ensuring cash drops are completed.
  • Balance all forms of payment, including credit cards and cash, throughout each shift.
  • Report any guest-related issues or system problems to management.
  • Communicate maintenance needs promptly.
  • Assist with guest inquiries regarding lost and found items.
  • Be capable of lifting luggage or packages weighing up to 40 pounds.
