Role Overview
In this position, you will thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment focused on delivering exceptional customer service and facilitating successful transactions. This role demands outstanding decision-making abilities, effective communication skills, and the capacity to manage multiple tasks collaboratively.

As an Escrow Officer, you will oversee real estate transactions by establishing new escrow accounts, managing funds, processing closing documents, and executing settlements in line with established protocols. Your contributions will be vital in turning the dream of homeownership into reality.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Facilitate real estate escrow transactions by assessing requirements
  • Serve as a neutral intermediary among involved parties, adhering to company policies while managing and mitigating risks
  • Ensure accurate accounting and disbursement of all funds according to contractual terms and company guidelines
  • Generate regular reports on escrow account status and share these with relevant parties
  • Review property titles, mortgages, and trust deed documents
  • Draft legal documents necessary for transaction closure
  • Conclude transactions by recording and filing documents, and preparing and distributing final closing statements and titles
Qualifications:
  • 2-4 years of experience in escrow services
  • Prior experience managing escrow transactions as an escrow assistant is preferred
  • Willingness to embrace new technologies and proprietary systems; adaptable to changing workflows
  • Commitment to customer service with a professional and positive demeanor
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, capable of engaging with both internal teams and external clients
  • Detail-oriented problem solver with excellent organizational skills, adept at navigating resources to resolve issues
  • Ability to contribute positively to a team environment, exceeding customer expectations
  • Comfortable mentoring and supporting emerging talent in the field
  • Proficient in MS Office suite and quick to learn new software applications
  • Valid licensing/certification as mandated by state regulations
  • High school diploma or equivalent
Compensation:
The pay range for this position is $22.11-$30.29 per hour. This range is a reasonable estimate of the base pay for this role at the time of posting and is influenced by various factors, including job-related knowledge, skills, experience, business needs, and geographic location.
