Key Responsibilities:
CUSTOMER INTERACTION
  • Actively engage with customers to establish a connection.
Listen attentively to customer needs and guide them to relevant merchandise, informing them about promotions and events. Provide exceptional customer service and foster positive, inclusive relationships while taking responsibility for your actions.
STORE MAINTENANCE
  • Ensure the store is well-organized and visually appealing.

SALES INITIATIVES
  • Promote products through cross-selling and knowledge of store layout.
Make tailored suggestions to customers based on current trends and promotions. Upsell products by leveraging your understanding of product features and trends, utilizing company tools to confidently provide accurate information.

Process transactions efficiently using a Point-of-Sale system, handling cash, discounts, gift cards, and credit transactions while ensuring accurate cash handling.

Complete necessary paperwork and reports as required.
INVENTORY MANAGEMENT
  • Oversee merchandise inventory processes, ensuring accurate check-in and labeling.
Participate in periodic inventory checks as needed.
RELIABILITY
  • Adhere to your assigned work schedule.
Ensure thorough follow-through on all tasks assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
PRODUCT UNDERSTANDING
  • Basic knowledge of products and merchandise is preferred.

EXPERIENCE
  • Previous retail experience is a plus but not mandatory.

COMMUNICATION ABILITIES
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential.
Ability to read and interpret instructional documents such as safety guidelines and operational procedures. Effectively communicate with customers, peers, and management, maintaining proper etiquette in all interactions.
MATH SKILLS
  • Competence in basic math functions including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.

PROBLEM-SOLVING SKILLS
  • Ability to multitask while remaining attentive to customer needs and adaptable to business demands.
Work collaboratively as part of a team while also demonstrating initiative and independence.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT
This role involves continuous movement, communication, and standing for extended periods. Occasional stooping, kneeling, and climbing may be required. Vision requirements include close vision and depth perception. The position may involve lifting items weighing up to 50 lbs.
