Job Summary

The Client Service Associate will support our Relationship Managers, Portfolio Managers, and Director of Client Services with a range of activities, including client account setup and maintenance, paperwork compilation and completion, trade reconciliation, and execution of client and WFS tasks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Serves as a liaison between clients, West Financial Services, and custodians.
  • Provides support to Relationship and Portfolio Managers, senior management, and the Director of Client Services in client relationship building and maintenance.
  • Tracks and processes ad hoc client requests, answers client questions, and takes initiative to research and find solutions to problems and requests.
  • Proactively communicates with clients to anticipate needs and ensure seamless client service and support.
  • Calculates and processes Required Minimum Distributions (RMDs), charitable contributions, and estate distributions.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in business or finance preferred.
  • Experience in the finance or investment industry preferred.
  • Applicable internship experience a plus.
  • Strong organization skills, accuracy, and attention to detail essential.
  • Ability to manage multiple responsibilities and requests with competing deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Expertise with portfolio management software, specifically Envestnet Tamarac and Salesforce highly desirable.
  • Strong experience with Microsoft products, including Word, Excel, and Outlook required.
Working Conditions

Normal office environment with minimal discomfort due to temperature, dust, noise, or other disagreeable elements.

Must be able to travel to remote company and/or client locations.
