Job Description:


L3Harris Technologies is seeking a seasoned Subcontract Manager to support the FAA Data Communications Integrated Services (DCIS) group in the Mission Networks Business Sector of the Space & Airborne Systems Business Segment.


The ideal candidate will be responsible for the overall life cycle of a subcontract, from initial sourcing and acquisition strategy development to solicitation, negotiation, award, cost and schedule management, subcontractor execution and closeout steps.


The Subcontract Manager will leverage various subcontract types, including fixed-price, cost reimbursement, time & material, labor hour, etc., to best manage risk for both L3Harris and our customer.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Management of existing subcontractor relationships
  • Support of routine customer task order/change proposal activity
  • Implementation plans, data analysis, and compliance reviews of subcontract files
  • Preparation of estimates for bids and proposals
  • Audit support (to include both internal and external audits)


Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Operations Management, or related field
  • Minimum 9 years of prior related experience, or equivalent industry experience
  • Relevant professional experience in Supply Chain, Subcontracts, Contracts, Procurement, Program Management, Engineering, Quality, Regulatory Compliance, Legal and Government compliance, and/or Finance
  • Experience with Federal contracting/subcontracting process (FAR/DFAR/AMS)
  • Ability to obtain a Public Trust Security Clearance


Preferred Skills:

  • TELCO Experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Suite of Products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • MRP system experience
  • Lean Six Sigma experience
  • Cost Account Manager experience managing budgets and sales forecasting
