About the Role:

The Assistant Manager of Residential Landscaping Services will support the Grounds Manager in overseeing a portfolio of member properties, focusing on delivering exceptional landscaping and snow removal services. Your expertise in the safe operation of landscaping equipment, along with your knowledge of plant care and maintenance, will be essential in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver top-notch landscaping services to our members.
  • Lead and mentor a team of landscaping professionals.
  • Ensure regular maintenance of equipment and keep accurate records.
  • Act as a liaison between members and landscaping crews, ensuring high standards and satisfaction.
  • Supervise and provide constructive feedback to team members and homeowners.
  • Assist in the recruitment and onboarding of new landscaping staff.
  • Facilitate training on equipment safety and proper maintenance procedures.
  • Promote a positive work culture that emphasizes professionalism and effective communication.
  • Build relationships with homeowners to enhance our Residential Services Program.
  • Conduct property audits to maintain service quality.
  • Participate in meetings as required by management.
  • Engage in both written and verbal communication with customers and internal teams.

Qualifications:

  • Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record.
  • High school diploma or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 2 years in a supervisory capacity with strong communication skills.
  • 3 years of experience in landscape maintenance.
  • Proficiency in Word and Excel, along with solid math skills.
  • Ability to obtain a State of Idaho Pesticide Applicators License.
  • Self-motivated with the capability to manage multiple tasks independently.
  • Passion for outdoor work and adaptability to various weather conditions.
  • Strong knowledge of planting, landscaping, and irrigation systems.
  • Previous experience in customer service is preferred.
  • Familiarity with landscaping tools and equipment.
