Housekeeping Assistant

The Shore Lodge House Attendant plays a vital role in supporting the Housekeeping team by maintaining inventory levels, ensuring guest rooms are clean and well-stocked, and providing exceptional customer service. This role requires a strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

• Inventory Management: Stock and maintain supply levels of housekeeping inventory closets, ensuring that all necessary items are available for guest rooms.
• Room Preparation: Remove used linens and trash from guest rooms, restock with clean linens, and maintain the cleanliness of hallways.
• Customer Service: Provide excellent service to guests, property owners, and fellow employees, responding promptly to their needs and soliciting feedback to improve service.
• Team Collaboration: Attend staff meetings with other department heads to discuss company policies, patrons' complaints, and recommendations for improving service and operations.

• Communication Skills: A comprehensive knowledge and understanding of the English language, with the ability to communicate effectively with guests and coworkers.
• Organizational Skills: Ability to follow instructions while multi-tasking and maintaining a high degree of organization.
• Customer Service Skills: Excellent customer service skills, with a focus on providing a positive experience for guests and property owners.
• Previous Experience: Previous work experience in housekeeping is an asset, but not required.
