Event Service Attendant

Position Overview
As a key member of the banquet team at Pacific Palms Resort, you will play a vital role in ensuring that all food and beverage services for events are executed flawlessly and on schedule. This position offers a competitive pay rate of $16.00 per hour.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute all banquet-related tasks as directed by the Banquet Captain, adhering to established service standards.
- Provide attentive service to guests during events, addressing their needs promptly and efficiently.
- Report any maintenance or housekeeping issues to the Banquet Manager to ensure a seamless operation.
- Comply with all liquor liability regulations and maintain a thorough understanding of these laws.
- Participate in all scheduled pre-event meetings to prepare for service.
- Surpass guest expectations by maintaining high service levels throughout the event.
- Ensure that all bar setups are completed and ready at least 15 minutes before the event starts.
- Keep an accurate count of guests served during functions.
Qualifications
- Demonstrate a commitment to high-quality service at all times.
- Collaborate effectively with fellow Banquet Servers and Captains to ensure exceptional guest experiences.
- Assist with room setup and breakdown as needed, fostering a team-oriented environment.
- Fulfill any reasonable requests from management to support the team.
- Possess RBS Alcohol Certification and ServSafe California Food Handler Certification.
