Key Responsibilities

Your primary duties will include...
  • Overseeing the quality management of battery core evaluations, including physical and chemical assessments, visual inspections, and the use of specialized testing equipment such as CT machines and gas chromatographs.
  • Enhancing the effectiveness of quality testing processes through method development and evaluation.
  • Addressing quality inspection challenges by monitoring daily data, conducting problem analyses, and initiating improvement projects.
  • Developing and refining testing methodologies to boost detection efficiency and reduce quality-related costs.
  • Collaborating with on-site teams across various departments to analyze process issues and ensure effective closed-loop management.
  • Monitoring the calibration of measurement instruments and equipment, ensuring adherence to calibration protocols and reviewing results.
  • Conducting measurement system analyses, optimizing MSA methodologies, and addressing measurement system discrepancies.
  • Reviewing and tracking the implementation of critical measurement system analyses and improvement initiatives.
  • Implementing electrostatic discharge (ESD) protection measures for production lines and optimizing ESD management plans.
  • Assessing the status of measurement instruments and equipment during anomalies, collaborating with quality teams to evaluate severity, and tracking resolution progress.
  • Providing essential training to enhance the operational skills of team members and participating in the evaluation of new calibration methods.
  • Leading Quality Operating System (QOS) initiatives within the department.
Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess...

• An Associate's Degree in Engineering or a related discipline

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in manufacturing, specifically in production and supplier quality

• Strong leadership and interpersonal abilities

• Proficiency in engaging with all levels of the organization

• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

• Six Sigma Green Belt certification

• Proven ability to lead and collaborate effectively within a team

• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving capabilities

Additionally, it would be advantageous to have...
