Job Title: Licensed Clinical Crisis Assessor - Part Time

Job Summary:

Behavioral Health Connections (BHC) in Phoenix is seeking a dynamic and talented Part Time Crisis Assessor to provide mental health assessments for contracted emergency rooms and/or hospitals. The successful candidate will recommend the appropriate level of treatment based on the Assessor's assessment of risk factors and triage patients to appropriate services.

Responsibilities:

* Assess individuals experiencing crisis situations, gathering and analyzing information, assessing risk factors, and making informed decisions regarding appropriate interventions.
* Utilize strong clinical judgment, crisis de-escalation techniques, and knowledge of evidence-based crisis intervention strategies to provide effective care.
* Develop and maintain strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with individuals in crisis, their families, and other healthcare professionals.
* Analyze complex information, prioritize needs, and develop appropriate crisis intervention plans.
* Independently assess the mental health of patients, on-site or via tele-video, in contracted emergency rooms, hospitals, community clinics, and other client-based facilities.

Requirements:

* Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, Behavioral Health, or related field.
* Current license in the State of Arizona as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Registered Nurse (RN).
* Current CPR, Vaccines, if required by a customer hospital.
* Valid driver's license.
