Job Summary:

The Behavioral Support Services Director will be responsible for conducting functional behavior assessments, developing individualized behavior support plans, and providing training to staff. You will work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to ensure that individuals receive the highest quality care and support.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct functional behavior assessments and skill-based assessments to identify individual needs and develop effective behavior support plans.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor individualized behavior support plans to promote skill development and reduce challenging behaviors.
  • Use gentle teaching techniques to create a supportive and nurturing environment for individuals of all ages.
  • Establish data collection processes and gather data on targeted behaviors to inform behavior support plans.
  • Train staff, guardians, and parents in the implementation of behavior support plans to ensure consistency and effectiveness.
  • Address crisis prevention and intervention needs to ensure the safety and well-being of individuals.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation in accordance with organizational policies and state requirements.
Requirements:
  • Master's degree from an accredited program in behavioral analysis, education, or psychology.
  • Currently Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification and MO Behavioral Analyst licensure in good standing.
