Job Summary:

RHA Health Services is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Floor Care Specialist to provide community-based intervention and prevention services to individuals with intellectual disabilities and behavioral health care needs at the START Resource Center.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide integrated care and treatment with collaboration among all team members.
  • Therapeutic respite, emergency, and planned services.
  • Direct support for individuals with disabilities and challenging behavior in a community and/or residential setting.
  • Seek to understand the individuals in the context of their personal history, social and family networks, and hopes and dreams for the future.

Requirements:
  • High school diploma or GED and one year of experience in direct support with individuals with mental health and intellectual disabilities who have serious behavioral challenges and experience with crisis management.
  • Must maintain proficiency in company-sponsored training and certifications specified and/or required by future company regulations.
  • Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
