Festus Manor Nursing Center is seeking a skilled and compassionate LPN Charge Nurse to join our team. As a Charge Nurse, you will play a vital role in overseeing the provision of resident care, ensuring the highest practical well-being of our residents.
Responsibilities:- Observe, assess, and report resident conditions/changes and document in accordance with Festus Manor's Policies & Procedures and state/federal guidelines.
- Collaborate with RNs regarding changes in resident's condition, ensuring timely and effective care.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring accurate and safe delivery.
- Participate in assigning duties and ensure the delivery of appropriate clinical care by CNA staff.
- Identify and secure equipment and supplies, maintaining a safe environment for residents.
- Assure that each resident's attending physician and family or responsible party is promptly notified of any significant change in the resident's health condition.
- Graduation from an accredited Nursing School and a current and valid license in the applicable state.
- Ability to communicate in English via phone, in writing, and verbally in conversation with different levels of staff, patient families, and any outside customers.
- Current CPR certification.
