Job Description

**About the Job**

We are seeking a highly skilled Pediatric Critical Care Specialist to join our team at the University of Michigan. This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified Advanced Practice Professional (APP) to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in pediatric critical care medicine and will be responsible for coordinating and managing the care of critically ill patients in the intensive care unit setting.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

About the Role

  • Provide high-quality patient care to critically ill children
  • Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans
  • Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations of patients
  • Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with the attending physician and other healthcare professionals
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient interactions and progress

Requirements

  • Degree in Nursing or related field and certification as a Registered Nurse
  • Certification as a Nurse Practitioner in the State of Michigan
  • Current specialty certification in pediatric critical care
  • At least 2 years of experience working in pediatric critical care
