Additional Responsibilities:

  • Deliver DIY services such as battery installations and wiper replacements.
  • Support district and regional operations as needed.

Success Factors:

  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Proficient in locating and stocking automotive parts.
  • Knowledge of safety protocols.
  • Ability to achieve ASE P2 certification or equivalent.
  • Expertise in sourcing parts from various channels.
  • Capability to train team members on operational processes and equipment.
  • Experience in analyzing profit and loss statements.
  • Strong relationship-building skills with professional customers.

Essential Skills:

  • Understanding of automotive systems is preferred.
  • Effective communication in English (Spanish is a plus).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to calculate financial figures accurately.
  • Experience in reviewing business reports.
  • Accountability in managing team performance.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends.

Qualifications:

  • 2-3 years of experience in managing a retail team.
  • Proven track record in managing profitability and financial performance.
  • High school diploma or GED; a bachelor’s degree in business or related field is preferred.
  • Valid driver's license required.
  • ASE certification is preferred but not mandatory.

Physical Demands:

The role requires frequent walking and standing, with the ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds regularly and up to 100 pounds occasionally. Vision requirements include close, distance, and color vision.

Work Environment:

Primarily an indoor role, with occasional outdoor tasks. Exposure to various weather conditions and mechanical parts is expected.

Compensation:

This position is eligible for sales commission based on individual and store performance.
