Manufacturing Engineer

Purpose of the Role
As a Manufacturing Engineer at Quest Global, you will play a critical role in supporting our customer's drive for continual process improvement. Your primary responsibility will be to evaluate and eliminate manufacturing non-conformances and related issues, such as customer complaints, producibility limitations, and production delays. You will achieve this by conducting thorough root cause analysis and implementing robust preventative and corrective actions.
Key Responsibilities
· Conduct data mining and analysis of non-conformance issues to identify trends and areas for improvement
· Champion problem-solving and root cause analysis activities within the plant to eliminate recurrence of non-conformances
· Lead and perform process capability studies and measurement system analysis to ensure quality and reliability
· Conduct PFMEA and implement control plans to prevent defects and improve processes
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, manufacturing, and purchasing, to resolve issues and improve quality
· Develop and maintain technical documentation, including how-to guides, work instructions, and SOPs
Requirements
· Comprehensive knowledge of manufacturing processes, particularly in metals
· Strong understanding of engineering and manufacturing drawings, including GD&T
· Expertise in root cause analysis, problem-solving techniques, and measurement system analysis
· Familiarity with NDT and special process techniques
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
· Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering, or equivalent work experience
Desired Skills
· Proficiency in MS Office tools, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Project
· Experience with CAD software, such as NX, and analysis tools, such as Minitab
· Familiarity with product lifecycle management systems, such as Teamcenter
