About the Role

GAI Consultants, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Senior Roadway Inspector to join our team. As a key member of our construction inspection team, you will be responsible for conducting inspections for our new FDOT highway construction work.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform complex technical assignments, including in-field surveying and construction layout, and make and check engineering computations.
  • Inspect construction work and conduct field tests to ensure compliance with project specifications and regulations.
  • Coordinate and manage lower-level inspectors to ensure efficient and effective project delivery.
  • Work under the general supervision of the Project Administrator to ensure project goals and objectives are met.

Physical Requirements
  • Ability to lift up to 30 pounds unassisted.
