Healthcare Education Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Instructor to join our team at the State of South Carolina. As a CNA Instructor, you will play a crucial role in preparing students for careers in healthcare by providing high-quality instruction and ensuring that students meet the required standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and deliver comprehensive training programs for CNA students, focusing on areas such as CPR, first aid, human anatomy, and patient caregiving.
• Collaborate with the Dean of Health Science to ensure consistency of course content with clinical experiences and to develop effective strategies for addressing at-risk students.
• Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment, promoting student engagement and motivation through interactive teaching methods and hands-on training opportunities.
• Evaluate student progress and maintain accurate records, using assessment data to inform instruction and improve program outcomes.
• Maintain current knowledge of industry developments, best practices, and regulatory requirements, applying this expertise to enhance instruction and program effectiveness.

Compensation and Benefits:
The State of South Carolina offers competitive compensation and benefits packages, including a salary range of $60,000-$80,000 annually, depending on qualifications and experience. Eligible employees may also receive health insurance, retirement and savings plan options, paid vacation and sick leave, and work-life balance programs such as telecommuting and flexible work schedules.
