About the Role

Cleveland Clinic is seeking a highly skilled Behavioral Therapist to join our team in the Center for Autism. As a Behavioral Therapist, you will play a critical role in providing patient-first healthcare and working alongside passionate caregivers to deliver exceptional care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the intake process for potential patients, conducting initial and ongoing assessments to develop and monitor treatment plans.
  • Generate and maintain functional behavioral assessments, develop behavioral treatment plans, and monitor progress on plans.
  • Communicate with parents, educators, insurance companies, and other professionals regarding progress and submit required documentation.
  • Maintain compliance with appropriate policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Participate in new and ongoing staff training, conduct BCBA and RBT supervision, and train staff/parents on goals and plans.
  • Conduct ongoing fidelity checks, lead community workshops, and present at local conferences.
Requirements
  • Master's or Doctoral degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Education, or a related field.
  • Board Certified Behavior Analyst certification required.
  • Certified Ohio Behavior Analyst (COBA) required within 2 months of employment.
  • Minimum three years of experience working with individuals with autism utilizing the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work and build rapport with parents of diverse backgrounds.
  • Computer efficiency is a must.
Physical Requirements

Requires full range of body motion, including handling and lifting students, manual and finger dexterity, eye-hand coordination, and physically able to manage students of varying weight and sizes.

Requires normal or corrected vision and hearing.

May be exposed to communicable diseases.
