Role Overview:

The University of Kentucky Healthcare is seeking a dedicated Clinical Sports Medicine Specialist to oversee the daily operations of Sports Medicine physician clinics. Key responsibilities include:

  • Rooming patients and ensuring efficient appointment follow-up
  • Providing patient education and developing home exercise programs
  • Managing patient inquiries related to pre- and post-operative care, prescription refills, and general healthcare questions

The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills to interact effectively with physicians, patients, physical therapists, and other healthcare professionals.

Essential Skills:

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

This position does not include supervisory duties.

Preferred Qualifications:

A Master's Degree is preferred.
