About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Marketing and Product Development Manager to join our team at Sager Electronics, Inc. As a key member of our organization, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our customer-centric vision and driving sales performance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cultivate Strategic Partnerships: Develop and maintain impactful relationships with suppliers to drive mutual success and optimize business outcomes.
  • Collaborate with Sales and Product Teams: Work closely with sales and product management to devise and execute effective sales strategies, ensuring optimal inventory management, pricing, and market strategies.
  • Master Commodity Strategies: Develop and implement commodity strategies and supplier policies to maximize profitability and drive business growth.
  • Optimize Inventory Management: Maintain optimal inventory levels based on sales forecasts and customer needs, ensuring timely delivery and minimizing stockouts.
  • Assess Product Line Performance: Analyze current product line performance and identify opportunities for expansion and growth.
  • Provide Training and Support: Develop and deliver tailored training sessions to the sales team on product lines, ensuring they have the necessary knowledge and skills to succeed.
  • Secure Major Sales Opportunities: Partner with sales to secure major sales opportunities and drive revenue growth.
  • Travel and Presentations: Travel and present to suppliers, typically 1-2 times per quarter, to build relationships and drive business outcomes.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent industry experience.
  • Experience: Minimum of five years of experience in marketing, product management, or sales within electronics distribution or manufacturing.
  • Skills: Strong communication, negotiation, and analytical skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Personal Qualities: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and work effectively with cross-functional teams.
