Your Role
In this position, you will operate in a vibrant, fast-paced environment centered on customer service and closing transactions. This role demands outstanding decision-making abilities, effective communication skills, and the capacity to manage multiple tasks as part of a collaborative team.

As an Escrow Officer, you will oversee real estate transactions by establishing new escrow accounts, managing funds, processing closing documents, and finalizing settlements in line with established policies and procedures. This role is crucial in turning the dream of home ownership into reality.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Facilitate real estate escrow transactions by identifying requirements.
  • Serve as a neutral intermediary between involved parties, adhering to company policies while managing and mitigating risks.
  • Ensure accurate accounting and disbursement of all funds according to contract terms and company policies.
  • Generate regular reports on the status of escrow accounts and share these with relevant parties.
  • Review property titles, mortgages, and trust deed documents.
  • Draft legal documents necessary for the completion of sales.
  • Finalize closings by recording and filing documents, preparing, and distributing final closing statements and titles.
Qualifications:
  • 2-4 years of experience in escrow-related roles.
  • Experience in managing escrow transactions as an escrow assistant is preferred.
  • Willingness to embrace new technologies and proprietary software; adaptable to new workflows.
  • Dedication to assisting customers while maintaining a professional and positive demeanor.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with both internal teams and external clients; comfortable utilizing various communication methods to meet customer needs.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities with excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the capability to navigate internal and external resources to resolve issues.
  • A collaborative spirit, contributing to a team focused on exceeding customer expectations.
  • Ability to mentor and support emerging talent in the business.
  • Proficiency in MS Office suite and quick adaptability to new software applications and technologies.
  • Valid licensing/certification as mandated by applicable state regulations.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
Compensation: $22.11-$30.29 hourly

This pay range is a reasonable estimate of the base pay for this position at the time of posting. Compensation is influenced by various factors, including job-related knowledge, skills, experience, business requirements, and geographic location.
