Sales Engineer for Industrial Automation Solutions
YOUNGBLOOD AIR SYSTEMS is seeking a dynamic and driven Sales Engineer to manage the North Central Indiana territory.
In this role, you will concentrate on enhancing sales within the designated area of the industrial automation sector. You will be supported by a team of Application Engineers, Customer Service representatives, and Vendor Partners to ensure you can effectively address customer requirements and deliver high-quality products and solutions.
The ideal candidate will possess a solid understanding of the local market and relevant experience with automation products and solutions. You will report directly to the Regional Sales Manager.
Key Responsibilities· Promote and sell YOUNGBLOOD AIR SYSTEMS products, systems, and services by pursuing both new and existing sales opportunities.
· Identify, assess, and recommend suitable products and services tailored to customer applications.
· Research and engage prospective customers that can lead to future sales and repeat business.
· Cultivate relationships at all levels within current and potential accounts to generate new business opportunities.
· Gather and communicate market intelligence to the Regional Sales Manager, Sales Director, and Vendor Partners.
· Ensure prompt delivery of quotations to maximize order acquisition chances.
· Regularly meet with the Regional Sales Manager to review sales strategies and performance.
· Develop strategic sales visits, customer action plans, and activities aimed at achieving sales and profit objectives.
Qualifications & Experience· Associate or bachelor's degree in engineering, business, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
· Prior experience in the sales of Automation Equipment & Components is highly preferred.
· Experience in value-added sales is advantageous.
· Strong customer focus with a commitment to total customer satisfaction.
· Technical aptitude and/or relevant engineering experience.
· Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
· Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
· Strong interpersonal and relationship-building abilities.
· Excellent organizational skills with the capacity to manage multiple tasks while maintaining attention to detail.
· Strong analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving capabilities.
· Proficient in Microsoft Office and Basic CAD applications.
· Proven experience with business operational software.
