Position Title: Research Associate I

Role Overview

The individual selected for this role will play a vital role within our research and production team, focusing on two primary areas: cell culture and protein & molecular assays. The candidate must demonstrate proficiency in aseptic techniques and collaborate effectively with scientific and quality management personnel. Key responsibilities include:

Cell Culture Responsibilities

  • Conducting cell culture operations
  • Processing tissue samples
  • Validating cell-based products
  • Performing protein & molecular assays
  • Producing cell culture media
  • Executing established protocols
  • Maintaining accurate records and generating reports
  • Enhancing quality systems, revising protocols, and drafting new SOPs as required
  • Overseeing product labeling

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant scientific discipline (cell biology, molecular biology, biochemistry, clinical laboratory science)
  • Minimum of 1 year of hands-on experience in cell culture within the industry
  • Preferred expertise in one or more of the following:
  1. Cell production, particularly involving stem cells and NK cells
  2. Conducting functional assays
  • Highly organized with exceptional record-keeping skills in accordance with cGMP standards
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
  • Strong multitasking capabilities
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Access
  • Eager to learn advanced methodologies
  • Team-oriented mindset

Compensation and Benefits

  • Competitive salary range: $66,560 to $78,000
