Company Overview: TMPC is seeking skilled Court Reporting Services to support our operations.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate must possess certification as a National Court Reporters Association (NCRA) Registered Professional Reporter (RPR) or an equivalent credential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Arrive punctually at the designated time and be equipped to engage in virtual remote proceedings, utilizing necessary audio and video technology.
  • Present oneself to the presiding official at least fifteen (15) minutes prior to the scheduled time to ensure all equipment is set up and ready for verbatim reporting.
  • Adhere to the presiding official's instructions regarding the record composition, including adjustments to hearing times and locations.
  • Document all spoken words verbatim during proceedings unless directed otherwise by the presiding official.
  • Ensure that no part of the proceedings is omitted from the record unless specifically instructed by the presiding official.
  • Organize and label exhibits as directed by the presiding official, maintaining numerical or alphabetical order.
  • Be prepared for occasional extensions of hearing sessions beyond the planned schedule.
  • Provide accurate and satisfactory transcripts that reflect the complete verbatim record of the proceedings.
  • Ensure that all transcripts are clear and legible.
