Job Title: Case Manager - Immigration Specialist

Join The GEO Group, Inc. as a Case Manager - Immigration Specialist and contribute to the success of our organization. As a Case Manager - Immigration Specialist, you will be responsible for providing case management services to Intensive Supervision Appearance Program (ISAP) participants, ensuring their successful integration into the community.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement individual service plans for ISAP participants, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations.
  • Conduct regular face-to-face meetings with participants, providing guidance and support to achieve their goals.
  • Install and monitor electronic monitoring equipment, ensuring participants' compliance with program requirements.
  • Assist participants in acquiring travel documents and connecting them with community resources, including transportation, medical, and financial assistance.
  • Coordinate translation services and facilitate communication between participants and program staff.
  • Supervise participants in company offices, ensuring a safe and supportive environment.
  • Establish schedules for participants, including counseling sessions, immigration court appearances, and access to legal services.
  • Review individual service plans, conduct risk/needs assessments, and write progress reports, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations.
  • Report program violations in a timely manner, using established reporting parameters.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as sociology, psychology, social work, or criminal justice.
  • At least two years of customer service or case management experience, preferably in fields related to law, social work, detention, corrections, or working with multicultural clients.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish required, with the ability to interpret and articulate rules, orders, instructions, and materials.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to safely operate a motor vehicle for home visits.
  • Ability to pass a federal background check and obtain a suitability determination.
  • United States citizenship required.
Working Conditions:

This role requires regular interaction with participants, community contacts, government officials, and program staff. The ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines, is essential. The Case Manager - Immigration Specialist will be required to travel to participants' homes and community locations, using standard office equipment and technology.
