At CommonSpirit Health, we are committed to providing exceptional care to our patients and communities. As an Environmental Services Technician, you will play a critical role in maintaining a clean and safe environment for our patients, visitors, and staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Clean and Sanitize Hospital Areas: Provide routine cleaning and decluttering services to all areas of the hospital, including patient rooms, emergency rooms, operating rooms, hallways, nurses stations, waiting areas, and restrooms.
  • Restock Supplies: Restock supplies as needed in supply areas, common areas, and patient rooms, including soap, paper towels, bath tissue, facial tissue, bath linens, bed linens, and cleaning supplies.
  • Dispose of Medical Waste: Learn and follow proper techniques for disposal of all medical waste, including biological or biohazard waste such as bodily fluids or sharp implements.
  • Provide Excellent Customer Service: Remain patient, kind, and personable in all interactions with patients, visitors, and staff.
Requirements
  • Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred.
  • Experience: Previous experience in commercial or healthcare cleaning preferred.
