Mammography Specialist

### Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Mammographic Technologist I to join our team at MaineHealth. As a key member of our Clinical Radiology Department, you will play a critical role in performing and assisting in mammography procedures to evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients.

### Key Responsibilities

* Perform and assist in mammography procedures independently under general supervision
* Review and adhere to established procedures and protocols to ensure high-quality results
* Collaborate with the Manager of Diagnostic Radiology, Mammography Coordinator, and Physician Director of Mammography to ensure adherence to standards and protocols
* Develop and maintain knowledge of department policies and procedures, as well as familiarity with department equipment and materials
* Provide effective communication with patients and peers to ensure seamless care

### Requirements

* Graduate of accredited Radiologic Technology program with minimum of 2 years' experience as an RT(R)
* ARRT certification in Mammography and valid Maine License in Radiologic Technology
* BLS certification
* Ability to perform routine imaging studies independently and adapt to changes in different work environments and equipment
