Job Description

Seminole Gaming is a leader in the gaming industry, and we're looking for a skilled Casino Host to join our team. As a Casino Host, you will be responsible for maintaining relationships with our valued guests, promoting our gaming product and amenities, and ensuring a positive and memorable entertainment experience for each guest.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain relationships with targeted guests through personal contact to generate incremental gaming revenues.
  • Market our gaming product and amenities to valued guests.
  • Track guest visits, arrange accommodations, and provide complimentary services according to established guidelines.
  • Issue Player's Club cards and promote the program and related promotions.
  • Develop a targeted customer base to increase gaming revenues.
  • Update guest history for future visits.
  • Ensure the protection of customer rewards and credit lines.
  • Handle customer complaints and discrepancies in an efficient and courteous manner.
  • Participate in and extend offerings of Casino credit.
  • Provide special services, including food, beverage, transportation, cross-property events, and Player's Club programs.
  • Telemarket to active and inactive customers by mail and phone to develop brand loyalty and visitation to the Seminole Classic Casino.
  • Assist in the development of incentive programs, host goals, special events, and marketing programs.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of all electronic gaming machines, player tracking systems, promotions, events, entertainment, and general property information.
  • Stay informed of competitive promotions.
  • Safeguard the confidential nature of all departmental and company records.

  • Ability to deliver a service level that creates an atmosphere making our guests want to return.
  • Commitment to going above and beyond in the accomplishment of position responsibilities.
  • Presentation of an image of excitement, enthusiasm, and outgoing personality, while projecting a professional appearance.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with guests in English, specific to position duties and responsibilities.
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • 1-2 years casino experience preferred.
  • Above-average written communication skills.
  • Proficient in Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Work Environment:

  • Must be able to work in a smoking environment.
  • Must be able and willing to work any shift and long hours when necessary, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Must be able to continuously maneuver around the office and property, often standing for long hours.
  • Must be able to respond to visual and aural cues.
  • Must have the manual dexterity to operate a computer and other office equipment.
  • Must be able to lift 30 pounds and able to bend, reach, and stoop on a limited basis.
