We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Substance Abuse Recovery Coach to join our team at the North Colorado Health Alliance.

Job Overview

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing support and guidance to individuals struggling with substance use disorders, helping them navigate their recovery journey and connect with local resources and services.

This is a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact in our community and contribute to the mission of creating a healthier region in Colorado.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as a member of the Northern Colorado Health Alliance's Addiction Response Team to help design and implement community events and participate in workgroup meetings.
  • Connect individuals with supportive services, including the CO-SLAW network and other harm reduction measures.
  • Provide peer support and guidance to individuals in recovery, helping them set goals and overcome barriers to treatment.
  • Mentor and coach individuals in recovery, teaching them skills and strategies to maintain sobriety and build a healthy lifestyle.
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers and community resources to ensure seamless care coordination and support.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience working in substance abuse recovery or a related field.
  • Certification as a Peer Recovery Coach or willingness to obtain certification.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
