About the Role

As the Director of Quality and Patient Safety at Calvary Hospital, you will play a critical role in ensuring the highest standards of care for our patients and their families. Reporting directly to the Medical Director, you will be responsible for developing, managing, and coordinating our Hospice Performance Improvement and Safety Program.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to identify and address quality and safety concerns
  • Conduct regular audits and assessments to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Design and implement data-driven management systems to track quality and safety metrics
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including patients, families, and healthcare professionals
Requirements
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in nursing and quality assessment and improvement
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing quality improvement initiatives
  • Strong leadership and collaboration skills
  • Ability to analyze complex data and develop actionable insights
  • Current NYS Registered Nurse license and Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or health-related field
