Role Summary:

We are currently seeking a skilled Vice President of Pension Risk Transfer Pricing to lead our Institutional Division. This position offers flexibility with options for remote or hybrid work arrangements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Leadership: Oversee the pricing strategies for the Pension Risk Transfer (PRT) product line, ensuring alignment with our long-term financial goals.
  • Profitability Enhancement: Drive the implementation of pricing strategies that not only enhance profitability but also mitigate associated risks.
  • Innovation Development: Spearhead new product innovations, enhance team capabilities, and optimize return on investment to meet growth objectives.
  • Infrastructure Improvement: Execute transaction pricing and develop a robust pricing infrastructure to foster innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Collaboration: Partner with key stakeholders to develop and execute the PRT strategy, ensuring seamless transitions from pricing to valuation.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of 10-15 actuaries, guiding them in strategic pricing initiatives and fostering a culture of excellence.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Fellowship of the Society of Actuaries (FSA)
  • 15+ years of diverse actuarial experience
  • In-depth knowledge of the PRT product line
  • Extensive expertise in pricing, valuation, risk management, and model development
  • Experience with a variety of products, particularly fixed and variable annuities
  • Strong leadership skills with a proven ability to develop and engage a large team
  • A proactive approach to embracing change and challenging the status quo

Compensation:

The base salary for this position ranges from $235,000 to $300,700, with additional annual and long-term incentives available.
