As the Senior Vice President of Operations, you will partner closely with the executive leadership team to propel the company's strategic vision and objectives while ensuring that operational targets are achieved.
This role encompasses direct oversight of plant operations, which includes manufacturing, process engineering, safety and facilities management, quality assurance, and maintenance.

Responsibilities for the Senior Vice President of Operations:
- Oversee manufacturing processes to achieve production targets within established timelines and budget constraints.
- Implement total quality management, LEAN methodologies, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Develop policies, procedures, and business processes aligned with operational strategies aimed at driving results and achieving high success levels.
- Maintain a relentless focus on enhancing operational processes, quality, and yield to reduce costs and increase production efficiency.
- Foster a data-driven culture by establishing, monitoring, and reporting on essential operational metrics.
- Act as an On-Site manager within a matrixed, decentralized organization, managing local employees based on functional and hierarchical needs.
- Supervise production engineering and the preventive and corrective maintenance of highly automated machinery.
- Collaborate with the Pallidus Innovation and Development Center to introduce and refine innovative manufacturing concepts.
- Work alongside Research and Development to assess the feasibility of innovation pipelines and facilitate the transfer of new technologies to Operations.
- Manage capital expenditures and operational budgets to ensure financial targets for growth and sustainability are met.
Leadership Duties:
- Recruit and nurture a team of leaders in manufacturing floor management, engineering, and maintenance.
- Oversee a matrixed organization with collaborative relationships across quality, EHS, procurement, logistics, and team members.
- Evaluate performance and create growth opportunities for high-achieving team members.
- Collaborate with Human Resources on staffing, succession planning, and aligning the organization with future needs.
- Lead and mentor project teams focused on streamlining operations for enhanced effectiveness and consistency.
- Establish clear expectations and define roles and responsibilities across various functions at the manufacturing site, monitoring progress against milestones.
- Build strong partnerships with cross-functional leaders in Human Resources, Finance, Sales & Marketing, and IT to ensure the site meets its commitments.
Qualifications for the Senior Vice President of Operations:
- 15+ years of leadership experience in managing large-scale manufacturing organizations.
- Proficient in data-driven MES and ERP systems.
- Familiarity with quality methodologies such as LEAN, Six Sigma, and 5S.
- Experience in the high-tech industry is preferred.
- Demonstrated success in scaling manufacturing sites and managing comprehensive supply chains.
- Proven ability to attract, develop, motivate, and retain a high-performing team of professionals.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen or lawful permanent resident to meet Export Control requirements.
