KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Quality & Safety are Our Top Priorities
  • Operate and manage machinery responsible for various packaging tasks, including assembly and downstream packaging automation.
  • Initiate machine operations and monitor performance to identify any operational issues. Report malfunctions to the process technician or supervisor.
  • Address alarms, clear jams, and troubleshoot sensors and leak detectors.
  • Prepare packaging materials or work-in-progress components; ensure the quality of the final product, stamping, and packing on assembly and downstream packaging equipment.
  • Conduct visual and basic dimensional inspections to assess the overall quality and acceptability of products.
  • Maintain a tidy and safe working environment.
  • Comply with and communicate all plant Health, Safety, and Quality protocols and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned.
Additional Responsibilities & Skills for Our SQF Certified Facilities:
  • Possess a fundamental understanding of current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) and proper hygiene protocols.
  • Inform the SQF Practitioner and/or Supervisor of any necessary repairs or adjustments.
  • Carry out basic sanitation tasks.
  • Fulfill all duties required to meet Company and Regulatory standards as prioritized by the Company, HACCP, and SQF.
  • Alert the SQF Practitioner/Quality Manager or other management personnel regarding any Food Safety or Quality concerns.
  • Identify issues related to Food Safety and the Quality of raw materials, processes, quality systems, or safety systems by performing assigned Production/Quality Checks.
  • Take proactive measures to prevent nonconformities related to Food Safety and Product Quality, executing and adhering to the HOLD Standard Operating Procedure (SOP).
  • Control the further processing or delivery of nonconforming products concerning Food Safety and Quality until the issue is resolved.
  • Adhere to all Food Fraud/Food Defense Policies while on company premises.
  • Have a thorough understanding of all Company policies, including GMPs and safety regulations, HACCP, and SQF.
Safety and Cleanliness:
  • Follow safety protocols diligently.
  • Keep the work area clean and safe, reporting any hazardous conditions to the supervisor.
  • Wear company-issued personal protective equipment (PPE) such as uniforms, gloves, and hairnets.

  • A graduate from high school or a vocational-technical school.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • 1-3 years of experience as a manufacturing operator.
  • Additional education in a related vocational, operations, or manufacturing field.
  • Prior experience in an ISO 9001 and/or ISO 13485 manufacturing environment.

  • Read, comprehend, and adhere to documents such as safety regulations, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedures.
