Rockaway Care Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team on a full-time or part-time basis. As a CNA, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our residents, ensuring their safety, comfort, and well-being.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct care to residents, including bathing, dressing, serving meals, feeding, ambulating, turning, and positioning.
  • Assist licensed nurses with admitting, discharging, and transferring residents, as well as performing ADLs and maintaining clean living conditions.
  • Collect charts, records, and reports to be given to licensed nurses, and ensure that all residents receive the highest quality of service in a caring and compassionate environment.
  • Perform other related job duties as required.
Requirements
  • Active NY CNA license
  • 1 year of experience as a Certified Nursing Assistant (preferred)
  • High School Degree or Equivalent

Rockaway Care Center is a 1199 union facility that provides long-term, short-term, and ventilator care to our residents. We offer a competitive hourly rate of $19.59/hour, plus differential for evening and overnight shifts, and a supportive work environment that values the well-being of our employees and residents.
