We are seeking compassionate RNs to work under the supervision of an RN Supervisor, providing follow-through of physician-established plans of treatment. Five Star believes that qualified nurses are advocates and health educators for patients, families, and communities.

Hourly pay rate: $52

RN/Registered Nurse Requirements:

  • Currently holds an active RN license to work in New York.
  • CPR Certified (BLS or ALS accepted)
  • Meets all State and Federal requirements for US employment in a Nursing Facility
  • Strong patient assessment skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively
  • Demonstrated clinical competency

As a Five Star RN, you will carry out various tasks, including:

  • Accurately recording medical histories.
  • Taking and recording vital signs, collecting samples for lab testing.
  • Administering medications and performing approved procedures and care.
  • Monitoring patient condition and composing patient charts.
  • Providing emotional and psychological support when needed.
  • Communicating with patients' families to provide advice, comfort, and release instructions.
  • Providing supervision to CNAs and LPNs and assisting as necessary.
