RN/Registered Nurse Requirements:
- Currently holds an active RN license to work in New York.
- CPR Certified (BLS or ALS accepted)
- Meets all State and Federal requirements for US employment in a Nursing Facility
- Strong patient assessment skills
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Demonstrated clinical competency
As a Five Star RN, you will carry out various tasks, including:
- Accurately recording medical histories.
- Taking and recording vital signs, collecting samples for lab testing.
- Administering medications and performing approved procedures and care.
- Monitoring patient condition and composing patient charts.
- Providing emotional and psychological support when needed.
- Communicating with patients' families to provide advice, comfort, and release instructions.
- Providing supervision to CNAs and LPNs and assisting as necessary.
