Job Summary

Mentor Technical Group is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Facilities Manager to lead our Utilities/Facilities operations. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities, including procurement, budget administration, and contract management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategic plans for facilities operations, including budgeting and resource allocation.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to ensure compliance with corporate and regulatory policies.
  • Manage and resolve technical issues and problems in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Coordinate and oversee the work of facilities staff, including scheduling and assigning tasks.
  • Monitor and maintain facilities equipment and systems, ensuring optimal performance and safety.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives and improve operational efficiency.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and contractors to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of services.
  • Conduct regular site visits to ensure compliance with safety and regulatory requirements.
  • Prepare and present reports to management on facilities operations, including budget performance and key performance indicators.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, or related field.
  • At least 10 years of experience in facilities management, with a strong background in utilities operations.
  • Proven track record of success in managing budgets, contracts, and personnel.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound decisions.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction and quality service.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift and move up to 25-35 pounds, with occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to work in a variety of environments, including indoor and outdoor settings.
  • Ability to work at heights, in confined spaces, and in areas with hazardous materials.
