Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Program Aide/Assistant to join our team at The Salvation Army Adult Rehabilitation Center. The successful candidate will provide administrative support to the Rehabilitation Services staff, ensuring the smooth operation of our programs and services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clerical support to the Rehabilitation Services staff, including typing and mailing correspondence, answering phones, and directing visitors.
  • Process new beneficiary applications, assist with intake counseling, and maintain beneficiary files.
  • Prepare and maintain lists for scheduled activities and personnel, including gratuity lists, group rosters, and counseling schedules.
  • Attend and take minutes of all Case Conference and Rehabilitation Services Staff meetings.
  • Assist with program research projects and prepare reports as required by the Administrator.
  • Supervise receptionist, interns, and daily activities of the rehabilitation program.
  • Ensure the security of beneficiary files and maintain confidentiality in accordance with established policies and laws.
Requirements
  • High school graduate or equivalent.
  • Ability to operate basic office machines and software, including Microsoft Office programs.
  • Knowledge of The Salvation Army's philosophy and goals, as well as the Adult Rehabilitation Center Program and Mission Statement.
  • Professional judgment and integrity in holding in confidence all information pertaining to beneficiaries, families, and co-workers.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks efficiently.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 1 year of administrative or clerical experience.
  • Team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Detail-oriented with a strong ability to multitask and prioritize tasks.
