Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Consumer Services Coordinator to join our team at Inland Regional Center. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in providing case coordination services to individuals with developmental disabilities and their families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate services and supports for individuals with developmental disabilities, ensuring compliance with the Lanterman Developmental Disabilities Services Act.
  • Develop and implement Individual Program Plans (IPPs) to meet the unique needs of each consumer.
  • Provide advocacy services, attending relevant meetings and preparing necessary paperwork.
  • Seek out and utilize generic resources to support consumers and their families.
  • Complete individual or family crisis intervention and document activities.
  • Coordinate consumer assessments, including medical, psychological, developmental, educational, vocational, and other evaluations.
  • Arrange for placement in residential facilities, day programs, and other training programs as clinically indicated.
  • Ensure Medicaid Waiver standards are maintained and documentation is completed on a timely basis.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university and one year of experience in case management, intellectual/developmental disabilities, social work, special education, or a related field.
  • Master's degree in social work, psychology, public health nursing, teaching, special education, or a related field from an accredited college or university.
  • Bilingual preferred but not required.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others.
  • Good attendance and punctuality.
  • Ability to follow oral and written direction.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Full use of an automobile, possession of a valid California driver's license, and liability insurance.
