Qualifications:

  • Proficient computer skills.
  • Advanced knowledge of catheterization, electrophysiology, radiofrequency ablation procedures, and ICD testing (specific to Electrophysiology).
  • ACLS certification from the American Heart Association (applicable to Telemetry, CVDOU, ICU, CICU, DOU, AMI, Emergency Room, Recovery Room, Radiology Invasive, Electrophysiology).
  • NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification within six months of employment (for ICU, CICU, Emergency Room & DOU, Radiology Invasive, Electrophysiology).
  • LA City Fire Card within six months of employment (specific to PIH Health Good Samaritan Hospital).
  • Minimum of six months of experience or completion of a New Grad/Internship program.
  • CPI/VIP certification within three months of employment (specific to Emergency Room).
  • One year of experience in an Emergency Department (specific to Emergency Room).
  • Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course Preferred (specific to Emergency Room).
  • Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification from AAP & AHA (to be completed within 90 days for New Grads, applicable to NICU).
  • One year of recent NICU experience or completion of a training program (specific to NICU).
  • Two years of experience in an acute care hospital (specific to Radiology Invasive).
  • One year of recent critical care experience or one year of Interventional Radiology or Cardiac Cath Lab experience (specific to Radiology Invasive).
  • One year of recent critical care experience or one year of Electrophysiology Lab experience (specific to Electrophysiology).
