Job Summary

Sea Mar Community Health Centers is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Health Care Assistant to join our team at our Medical Clinic in Mount Vernon, WA.

The successful candidate will be a key member of our patient care team, supporting the care team to ensure patients receive current and ongoing primary care services in a timely, courteous, and professional manner.

Responsibilities
  • Assist with provider referrals and scheduling appointments
  • Receive, document, and return patient messages
  • Coordinate needed services both internally and externally
  • Manage quality gap reports and contact patients as needed
  • Perform other duties as assigned, such as QI audits and participation in organizational committees
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must demonstrate professionalism and integrity at all times and possess the physical and emotional stability and personality suited to meet the physical, mental, emotional, and social needs of the population served.

Must possess a high school graduation/GED or higher and have previous experience in Family Medicine, if possible.

Must adhere to the Sea Mar Employee Health Screening Policy and be willing to travel to other Sea Mar sites as needed.

Required to speak English and Mixteco.
