Job Title: Business Development Coordinator

At Kenan-Flagler Business School Executive Education, LLC, we are seeking a highly motivated and organized Business Development Coordinator to join our team. This is a full-time, hybrid position based in Chapel Hill, North Carolina.

About the Role

The Business Development Coordinator will play a critical role in supporting the Director of Revenue Strategy and Enablement in driving business growth and revenue expansion. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing inbound sales leads, collaborating with the sales and marketing teams, and developing and executing lead generation strategies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the allocation and qualification of inbound sales leads using Salesforce, ensuring timely and effective follow-up with prospective clients.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to support demand generation processes, pre-qualifying and following up on marketing qualified leads.
  • Support the Director in maintaining and managing sales tools, including Salesforce and Pardot data, to ensure data integrity and lead generation efforts.
  • Assess prospects through a sales qualification process, setting up sales meetings as needed, and researching potential clients, key decision-makers, and industry contacts.
  • Develop and execute targeted outreach campaigns and activities to increase the volume and quality of qualified sales leads.
  • Pitch UNC Executive Development's mission, value proposition, and capabilities to prospective clients, clearly and enthusiastically.
  • Assist in maintaining internal training materials to develop Salesforce skill sets throughout the organization.
  • Support the planning and execution of prospective client visits and events at the Rizzo Center, Charlotte campus, and elsewhere as needed.
  • Participate in planning for and attending conferences and client meetings as needed, under the direction of the Director of Revenue Strategy and Enablement.
Qualifications and Experience
  • A bachelor's degree and 2+ years' experience in business development, pre-sales, corporate sales, bid management, and/or similar or equivalent experience.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, especially when interacting with executive-level prospects and clients.
  • Expertise using Salesforce is required, with experience using technologies such as Pardot and Asana (or other project management tools) strongly preferred.
  • Experience working with marketing teams on sales, marketing, and demand generation is also preferred.
What We Offer

Kenan-Flagler Business School Executive Education, LLC offers a competitive compensation package, including a base salary of $55,000-65,000 per year, plus a performance-based component. We also offer a generous benefits package, including group health, dental, and vision coverage, 401(k) matching plan, life insurance, paid holidays and time-off, and group and individual incentive compensation plans.
